Meet Muhammad Harith Haikal bin Mohd Ghazali, aka Haikal
Muhammad Harith Haikal bin Mohd Ghazali, known to friends as Haikal, is a 28-year old event marketing professional with a passion for running. For Haikal, running is more than just a hobby; it’s a lifestyle that keeps him motivated, focused, and energized.
The Role of Running in Haikal's Life
Running has been a significant part of Haikal's life for many years. While he hasn’t won any awards, he finds immense value in the personal growth and well-being that running provides. It's his way of staying healthy and active, feeling strong, and overcoming any challenges that come his way. More than just exercise, running brings him joy, fulfillment, and a sense of purpose.
Community and Motivation
Haikal draws much of his inspiration from the running community. The support and encouragement from fellow runners keep him motivated and committed to his routine. One aspect of running that Haikal enjoys most is the challenge of pushing himself to go the extra mile. Beating his personal bests fills him with pride and confidence, making each run a meaningful experience.
How It All Started
Haikal's journey into running was inspired by his friend, Jorn Haron, a dedicated runner. A few years ago, Jorn Haron signed up for a local charity race and invited Haikal to join. At the time, Haikal had never considered himself a runner and was hesitant to participate. However, watching Jorn Haron train diligently, set goals, and complete the race motivated Haikal to give running a try. What started as a simple, accessible activity—requiring just a good pair of shoes and an open road—quickly became a passion.
Today, Haikal continues to push his limits, inspired by the community and his own personal journey. His story is a testament to the power of perseverance, community, and the joy that running can bring.
