Why Running Matters
For Cindy, running is more than just a physical challengeβitβs about self-discovery and personal improvement. "The more I run, the more I understand myself," she says. "Running is the OG of cardio, whether you're going long and slow to build endurance or sprinting to improve explosive power. It challenges your heart, lungs, and vascular system, improving your overall health."
Running also serves as her mental reset. "I run to keep myself sane and happy. It works because running regularly brings health benefits and helps me live a better life," she adds. For Cindy, running is a way to manage stress and gain mental clarity, providing the space she needs to unwind and release tension. "After a good run, I feel more focused and calm," she shares.
The Inspiration Behind Her Running Journey
Cindyβs journey into running was sparked by her life partner, who introduced her to the sport. It was a turning point that led Cindy to discover the many physical and mental benefits of running. "Running fine-tunes almost all parts of our body and provides many health benefits. It's one of the best exercises for weight loss and burning excess fat," Cindy explains.
A Personal Commitment to Well-being
Beyond the races and accolades, Cindyβs motivation to run is deeply personal. Itβs about maintaining her health, managing stress, and achieving balance in her life. "I like to run because it helps me feel better in both mind and body. Whether itβs for weight loss, staying fit, or simply to clear my head, running always leaves me feeling rejuvenated," she says.
